Users register for Meshi at https://my.meshi.io/login. A user may enter a mobile number to request a one-time verification code. That code authenticates the account and does not enroll the user in recurring messages.
Recurring messages require a separate, optional, unchecked checkbox during registration. The disclosure next to the checkbox states:
I agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Meshi with account notifications, personalized networking or event insights, and replies from my Meshi assistant. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Consent is not a condition of creating an account or purchasing any goods or services.
